Did you know that saffron can be more expensive than gold by weight? That’s because its delicate threads are harvested painstakingly by hand, as Argyle-Barrington MLA Colton LeBlanc states in this video. It still blows us away that our little slice of Nova Scotia green can support such an incredible crop.
